Hey dear readers, The stock market is a popular way to build wealth. The most important thing is that if you don't have proper knowledge of the stock market, please don't invest or trade. For beginners one of the most confusing things is what is the difference between Investing and trading ,and which is better investing or trading. So today I will explain the  difference between investing and trading. 

What is Investing

Dear readers, Investing is a long-term process. Investing means you putting your money in different assets such as stocks mutual funds,index funds or other assets for a long period. investing is generally used for  long term wealth creation. investors focus on long term goals and wealth creation. For example 5 to 10 years can be a good period for wealth creation and compounding. They don't focus on short term goals and market ups and downs.

What is Trading

Trading is a short- term process. In simple words trading is a way to make short term profits ,such as a few minutes, or a few hours or a few days.Every trader tries to make money from price movements. without proper knowledge trading can be very risky. You have to learn about trading like analyze charts, candleisticks, price movements. traders stay focused on their computer or laptop screens and analyze charts and candlestick patterns.The buy stocks and sell them within a few hours a minutes or a few days.

For example,  Imagine an intraday trader trades with $100 and if the stock price rises to $120 then the trader earns $20 and if the stock price falls to $90 then the trader loses $10 .

 

Investing vs trading main difference

Investment 

Investing focuses on long-term wealth creation. investing means building assets and wealth over time.investing requires patience and discipline and most importantly, you need to understand stock market fundamentals and tecnical analysis . Investors have more time to grow their money in investment .

Trading 

Trading is a short term process. trading is a skill that you need to learn . Including chart analysis, candleatick patterns and  price movement. Trading is generally risker than long-term investing.Traders have limited time to make profits ,such as few days or few hours or few minutes.

Which one is better

It Depends on your knowledge and interest. many people's are intrested in trading and many are intrested in investing. There is no fixed answer . if you can manage risk so you consider trading. If you want to build your wealth so investing is may be helpful for you. so it depends on your knowledge and risk.
